Description

Another picture from the same photoshoot as the two last ones. Model is Anne Jorunn Øyna.

I rarely do b&w pictures, as I'm not very good with it, but I'm actually very pleased with this one!

I started the post-work on the picture intending to keep it in color, but I decided to take a look at it in b&w, and I got a bit surprised by it.

Taken with the school's Canon Eos 40D and an external umbrella flash. Also had a reflector.

I'd love some feedback on this. I really want to improve my portraits!

EDIT: I made some changes to the B&W conversion. I think it looks better now =)

I like the pose of the model, eventhough it is classic it works really well. I also like that you kept it black and white.
I would have cropped it differently, I think it is too small on the sides and I would have rather cut off the part over the head.
I am also not keen on the postprocessing, it looks very photoshopped, and I think a little more natural touch would work a lot better! I am sure she is also naturally very beautiful, so I don't really see why all this postprocesing.
I would also love to see a little more contrast, and maybe a little more interesting light.
